This year’s theme, Better Together: Paths Forward in Literacy, Learning, and Hope, invites us to reflect on the ways that we are strongest as a community: whether we think at the level of our classrooms, schools, districts, cities, or networks of educators across the state. This conference will support putting the pieces together around how to heal and move forward in light of the difficulties we have faced as humans and literacy teachers since the beginning of the pandemic. Together, we will share best research-informed practices around literacy and learning, to carry us and our students toward hope.

Registration is now open for a virtual-only option which includes:

Wednesday, November 8 - Pre-Conference Speaker Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz from 7:00-8:00 PM

Thursday, November 9 - Afternoon Keynote Speaker - Kwame Alexander from 12:45-1:45 PM

Friday, November 10 - Sold a Story Discussion Panel: Drs. Donna Scanlon, Timothy Shanahan, John Strong, Tyana Velazquez-Smith from 1:00-2:30 PM
