Overview

The New York State Reading Association only collects personal data to track and effectively communicate with our members.  We do NOT share this information with anyone without your expressed permission.  

Collection, use and disclosure of personal information

When you join NYSRA or any of our affiliated local councils, minimally we ask for your full name, email address.  In some instances, we also ask for your home or school address, a phone number and what level of education you teach. As most of you know due to New York State Department of Education requirements, for those seeking CTLE credit must also provide your date of birth and the last four digits of your SSN.

We do not disclose this information to anyone with out your consent and you may request to change, update or eliminate your information at any time.

Giving consent for others

During registration to events including conferences, you will be asked if we can share your contact information with sponsors or vendors. We will not share this information without your permission.
