Workshop Description: Learn how anyone with a reading disability, or a visual or physical disability who finds it hard to read standard print can get FREE access to the following: 145,000 talking books and magazines by mail, talking book players; the BARD Mobile app to listen on-the-go; early braille & tactile literacy kits; one-on-one assistive technology and online literacy coaching; the tactile graphics creation lab and accessible maker space; and more, all from the New York Public Library's Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library.
Chancey Fleet is the Assistive Tech Coordinator at the Andrew Heiskell Braille & Talking Book Library of the New York Public Library.
Jill Rothstein has worked at the New York Public Library for 16 years and has been Chief Librarian of the Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library in NYC for six years.
